| Bear starting guard to be sidelined a minimum 3 weeks! |
| Kauhajoen Karhu starting guard Roni Leimu will be out of action at least the next three weeks due to a compression fracture in his knee that he sustained recently. Leimu is currently averaging 16.5 points per game including 54% (7-13) from behind the three point line. “I know Roni is very disappointed but things could be a lot worse” stated Coach Greg Gibson. “The good news is that Roni can make a full recovery soon and this also gives some other guys the great opportunity to step up and show what they can do”. Kauhajoki will next play at BC Nokia this Sunday, October 19th. Game time is 5:00pm. |
